? about cardio and weight training...

Hello all...

I was just wondering if i would get better/faster results if I do some weight training with my cardio? I am doing cardio (treadmill, precor, and ellipticle) 3-4x/week for about 45-60min. I have done weights about 4x with help of the staff of the gym, but when I do not make and appointment to do the weights I just end up skipping them and just do cardio. Will the cardio help with toning? Also out of the 3 cardio that I have listed is one better than the other as in burning calories and overall workout?? Thanks for any info!

You should definitely use weights if you can... it'll tone up your body quicker and better than just doing cardio.

As for those cardio machines... well, i can't stand using those kind of machines for cardio, so i don't. But variety is definitely good, keeps your interest going, and targets different body areas.

I have found out no matter how much cardio/weight lifting I did, I never lost the weight I wanted till I changed my diet totally.

I have also been consuming less calories. I have been eating about 1300-1500 calories a day.
