Weight loss and where to begin?

Weight loss and where to begin?

Well i am 15.

I went to consult my doctor about losing weight as i am 199 LBS at 15.

he told me to go to a nutritionist, I did and she put me on something like 2000 Calories a day but it was packed full of veggies and fruits split into 6 meals.

And i was all fine and dandy with that, But thats a lot of food considering i dont eat a lot during the day.

She also said 30 minaute's of excerise a day.

I love swimming but the closet swimming pool that i can swim in is 25 Miles away.

We have a tredmill but i find jogging so boring, 10 minautes in i wanna quit because im so bored.

Any help would be awesome.

Well RRichards151, I'm 17 and weigh 235 lbs. I know how you feel. Walking, jogging, and even running around the block is a great way to burn calories and lose weight. And if you have a dog its even better because they love getting out. I tried doing those things with my dog, but where I have bunions that have to be removed its hard for me to walk, jog, or even run for extended periods of time.

Put a TV in front of the treadmill if you can. We have a set up in front of my treadmill with a tv, dvd player, speakers and a cable to plug in a computer if I want to rent something from i-tunes. Pick a tv show or a movie or something. I've been renting Star Trek and watching one episode a day. It's exactly 45 minutes long so I'm doing cardio exactly 45 minutes a day.

Self-talk really does work, whether it is positive or negative. Lift your spirits and prolong your motivation every single day by telling yourself that you can and will succeed.
You may even find that it is helpful to say self-affirming phrases out loud. Your roommates may think you've gone crazy, but when you find it is quite effective, you won't mind.

Look in the mirror today, and say, "Nothing is going to stop me from meeting my weight loss goal."

If you really want to lose weight, you should follow what the nutritionist said. Losing weight takes a lot of effort and whether you like it or not, you have to do what you are supposed to do and that is to eat fruits and veggies as well as do exercises everyday.
