How many inches is a good amount to lose in 6 weeks?

I'm a 25 year old female, 5'7. I started dieting and exercising a month and a half ago. I don't like weighing myself because in the past I became too obsessed with it, so I started measuring myself every couple weeks. These were my results in 6 weeks:

    Arms - 2 1/4 inches lost each
    Chest - 2 1/4 inches lost
    Waist - 2 inches lost
Thighs - 2 inches lost each
    Calves - Stayed the same
    Hips - 1 1/4 inches lost

I'm just wondering if this is a decent amount of progress or not? I know it's different from person to person but I just would like a general idea and/or tips on how to amp it up! Thank you

I think you are doing great!! Remember that you are also building muscle, so that may be why your calves stayed the same. Just keep eating healthy and varying your exercise from weight lifting to cardio and you will continue to see these great results!
I hate the scale too-the NUMBER doesn't always reflect what is really going on. I threw mine off a balcony in to a field about 20 years ago and now only get on the scale at the doctor's office, and often don't look at the number after they weigh me.
