| Bartholin gland infected-no cyst?
About 2 weeks ago when I was shaving it felt like I had a little cut near bottom of my vagina. Thought nothing of it. The next day had sex with my husband and that same area felt sore. The day after I was in one of this float tanks filled with Epsom salts and it stung that part of my vagina. I finally took a look when I got home and it looked like my left Bartholin gland was a tiny bit swollen but not red. It didn't bother me if I didn't think about it . Now 2 weeks later it has stung when peeing. It's larger but still not a cyst...red...UT looks like the gland is a flap of redness. I've tried some prescription creams I had in the house but haven't helped. I'm currently on an antibiotic for a throat infection and that's not doing anything for it either. I've had Bartholin cysts before but never a flat red swollen area around that gland.
