Post Spotting, should I still go to gyno tomorrow??

I am 23 days late with my period and my annual gyno exam is tomorrow. Today I started spotting, hardly anything.....should I still go to my gyno appt or is that just gross? I really want to go and have my blood work and stuff done as I haven't been myself these last few months, so I hate to cancel and have to wait a whole month or so before I can get in, especially since I don't know if I am actually getting my period....or when I'll get it next month....

I am not pregnant so I don't need to worry about that..

Just curious as to what other women would do if they were spotting and had an annual check up due..

If it were me I would postpone it, or go for the bloodwork but not have the rest done.

This may be too late, but I have had to have exams while I was spotting. Your doc may have a preference, but mine is willing to perform most procedures anytime. I go in to see this guy pretty often so I have very little anxiety about paps and other routine exams. It probably depends on your comfort level with your doc.

Thanks, but the receptionist suggested I reschedule, plus I actually started having a light flow this morning. Rescheduled me for next Thursday. Hopefully it'll be gone by then!!

Thanks for the replies
