    provera to start period?

Has anyone done this? Did it work? DId it make your period worse? I haven't had mine for about 3 mos now and the doc prescribed this. She is checking my prolactin levels but nothing else, actually I had a pregnancy test-- negative.

Just wondering about the experience of it.

    Re: provera to start period?

I took Provera for 10 days per my Dr.'s instructions, and I did not get my period. After a month with no period, he put me on a low dose BCP, and sure enough, that's what finally worked. I was coming off of Depo Provera, and didn't have a period for 6 months. He said it was unusual for someone to take Provera and NOT start her period, but it happens.
