Question Period/No period?

I wasnt sure if i should post this here, but any help/advice would be amazing right now..

I was 2 weeks late, having all of the symptoms of being pregnant...the backaches, the headaches, nausea, fatigue, i even went off my cigarettes!
A couple of days ago i started spotting.. brown to pink.. i only noticed it when i wiped. After about 2 hours it was gone!

Yesterday however, I done a pregnancy test in the morning and i got a very very verrrry faint positive however i went into work and i was bursting for the loo - i went and clumps of blood came out with my wee
Once i had gone to the toilet the bleeding immediately stopped again....

Has this ever happened to anyone before? I redone a pregnancy test this morning but it was negative... would i just be too early to test ?

Any help appreciated

Re: Period/No period?

No, being two weeks late is NOT too early. You should be able to get a clear readout at this time in your cycle.

My suggestion is to take one more test. If the results are inconclusive or you get a "positive" readout, then call your doctor and ask for a blood test, and tell them that you're getting conflicting results with your home pregnancy test.

Re: Period/No period?

Is it possible that your symptoms are actually those of a UTI? You can get clumps of blood in the urine from that.

Re: Period/No period?

Being 2 weeks late, there is a possibility that the pinkish brown blood you seen was implantation bleeding. the other poster is right you should be able to get a clear read by now on a hpt.

the only thing im confused about is the clumps of blood you described. are you 100% sure they came out when you peed? thats very unusual.

i would test again and get a visit to the doc. obviously something is up.

please keep us posted and good luck?

by the way...would u like to be pg?
It never hurts to smile :-D
