Can yeast infection stop your menstration?

I had a yeast infection right before my last menstration cycle. My period was delayed a couple of days but it came. I went to my gyno. and she prescribed a medication for me. I started the medication couple days before my period was scheduled. It has been about five days and I have not gotten my period. Could a yeast infection or the medication used to treat yeast infections delay my period?

Re: Can yeast infection stop your menstration?

No, I do not believe so. Some women do tend to get a yeast infection a few days BEFORE a period is due. It does not stop your period from happening.
By the time a period is over, the yeast infection should be gone. Hope this helps.
