hey everyone :-)

Hopefully someone can help me...

Long story short, I am 28 and already had a benign tumor of the breast this year (which was scary) but thank God for the b9....well then my husband and I started seeing a fertility specialist because I don't ovulate and was diagnosed with PCOS and hypothyroid...

soooo fast forward and I have a transvaginal ultrasound and they found a 3cm mass. GREAT... The doctor thinks it will turn out to be a dermoid cyst...but my fear is ...what if it is an endocrine tumor? Those are the ones that secrete hormones...what if it is that causing my facial hair growth and absent menses...and not PCOS?

Also, I've been thinking back about a year or so and I have had gastrointestinal issues dating back to then. Frequent 'runs' gas and bloating. Those are all symptoms of ovarian cancer which I just thought I'd diagnose myself with a gluten seemed to go away with less gluten but I was tested for celiac disease (the most severe form of gluten allergies) and they said 'nope'... I also have chronic lower back pain which is an indicator for ovarian cancer as well but I attributed it to being overweight and VERY large chested...

It is very difficult being a 28 year old that has already had a breast tumor (thankfully b9 of course) and not be able to get pregnant, not be able to lose weight...and now another tumor.... I can't help but get discouraged and angry. I wouldn't wish it on anyone else but I wish it wasn't me...

Could anyone help me ? It is my understanding that ovarian cancer is rare in and of itself...much less in someone my age... just feeling scared and angry at the moment.

MRI tomorrow night. Send b9 thoughts please!!!

Re: hey everyone :-)

It went well thanks :-) MRI wasn't bad at all...even though I don't like needles very much...and it came back as a benign dermoid.

I did make an additional post that should be a couple lines down...and I had a question about a portion of my diagnosis...maybe you can help?
