treated for yeast about two week ago?

i went to the gyno about a little over 2 weeks ago because my "area" just didnt feel right and i had discharge that was like a mucus. so i went and she looked around and said i was red and irritated and that there was some white discharge. she took 2 swabs and ran them under the microscope. both of which came back negative which really surprised her. she took a sample off that little clamp thing that opens you up and sent it to the lab.

she gave me the one time pill and some topical cream to use.

i took the pill and the discharge stopped. but its still pretty itchy.
i got a letter in the mail saying that the results came back negative as well.

i was just wondering if i should still be itchy down there. or if i should be concerned.
