I have amenorrhea and feel frustrated

I've had irregular periods for the past few years, but since last summer I stopped getting my period. I've been to the doctors and been tested for everything, but they couldn't find anything wrong with me. They said it could be either low body weight or stress, but I don't think that's why. My mom pointed out that maybe the sleeping pills I was taking (melatonin) could be causing me not to get my period. I have sleeping problems so I have been taking melatonin for over a year. After doing some research online, I found out that some people had the same experience, but there hasn't been enough research done to prove this. I stopped taking them for a month last year and had a little spotting. I started taking them for awhile but eventually stopped and I haven't taken them since January. But I still haven't gotten my period and I am really frustrated, I can't stop crying. I am worried I am infertile now and never be able to have kids and I may never have my period again.
