| Black blood after contraceptive implant
I was fitted for the contraceptive implant (implanon) in May of this year, and so far (to my knowledge) I have not experienced any side effects. However, i have gotten a couple periods, none of which are very heavy. The one thing I have noticed is that they tend to be very light (no need for anything more than a pantyliner) , last about 5 days to a week, and are quite thick, black sticky clumps, occasionally looking normal. Is this normal, or should I be concerned?
