: I've been having problems with BM since I was very little. My normal time interval for having a urge to go is every 4-6 days, and if I don't go, than I have to wait again. I think I have some problems with my reflexes in my anus or something like that. I have internal and external hemeroids as a result. But recently my stomach and my intestines hurt very much. I've taken that test 'c...scope' (forgot the name) where you drink barium (SICK!!!) but they found nothing. But my stomach still hurts alot...Please help me!!! What should I do with the constipation, the hemeroids and the pain?

The constipation should have never been left to go this long. Start taking a fiber product such as citrucel or fibertabs twice daily and also add a stool softener if you don't already take one. Be sure to drink plenty of water and increase your dietary fiber. Do not put off having a bowel movement. Always go when the urge is present as you can cause more problems if you let the urge pass. You should also sit on the toilet for about 5 minutes every morning right after breakfast to try to get your bowels into the habit of regular BM's. As for the stomach pain you were not very specific about where the pain is, what the pain feels like and how often you have it etc. With so little info I won't comment on the abdominal pain. I will tell you since you are still uncomfotable to go back to your doctor and him run more tests to try to determine what the problem is. Good Luck
