: : : Hi everyone, I have read some of the posts below, but not all, so please forgive me if I am asking an already covered question. My question is in regards to my elbows. About 6 months ago I was camping with some friends, and at one point during the trip, I decided to carry two big water jugs with my left hand. I seemed to have pulled (?) something, don't know for sure, and ever since then my elbow has been giving me huge amounts of pain. It has given no sign of subsiding. I should also mention that I work for a living on a computer, and also spend a lot of my free time on my computer. All in all, I probably spend about 60 to 70 hours a week on the computer. I know this isn't good, and I know this has something to do with the recurring pain in the elbow, I just wanted to post to see if anyone could provide me with some guidance in terms of what might be going on. I don't know if I tore/broke something in that first injury and it just hasn't had time to heal, or if it is CTS, or what. Any help that you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

: : : Thanks for your time, Mike

: : Hi, Mike again, I forgot to mention something. At times, the pain gets really bad. If I use my left hand for the phone, when I put the phone back down after 5 or so minutes, it becomes REALLY painful to extend my arm to it's fullest. Also, when I've been typing for quite some time, the pain will start to trickle down from the elbow to the wrist, presenting itself mostly on the outside of the arm. I'm posting this because just today I began to feel the beginnings of this pain in my right elbow, and now I'm really scared. Again, any help that you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

: : Thanks again, Mike

: Hi Mike-
: I have experienced similar pain as well as others who I work with. I turned to an alternative medical products to seek comfort for my symptoms. They virtually disappeared. For further info e-mail me at [email protected]

Hi Mike!
i have similar pain and going trhough the pain eveyday the problem that I have is called cubital tunnel. This is the ulna nerve thaat is damaged I get pain in my elbow and travels to my hand making it hurt. Also there is so numbness in hand to go with it. Here is soem advise that my doc gave me.
-if you do alot of typing try and type with arms staight. this is to relieve pressure.
-keep your arm straight at night also. I have to wear and elbow pad that doc gave me to do this.
- vitamin b-6 will help as well. I just started taking it a day ago so I really don't have results for you now.
I will let you know how it's doing for me after about a couple of weeks.
