my son who is one of twins also has cp we found out at 3 months (he is now 9 months) and all he seems to do is cry also, all you can do is love your child as i'm sure you will never spoil your child if you hold them all the time you will only show them love. feel free to write me and i'll help if i can!!: I can relate! My son was dx with CP at 9 months. This after 9 months of screaming and carrying him around. THe Drs said he had colic. We were exasperated. He would not even cry himself to sleep. He could scream forever. Well at 12 months he grew out of it! Now he is happy healthy, does not have seizures and the best thing is he pulled himself up on the side of his crib today! He is 19 months old. His progress started around 13 months.
: Good luck and I hope this helps.
: : Our daughter is 7 months old and we were told that she has CP when she was 5 months old. She is now
: : still having test done along with physical and occupational therapy. She also began taking a drug called
: : Klonipan to help with her stiffness and as a seizure preventative. She is a loving baby, but she wants to
: : be held all the time, and she won't let anyone hold her except my wife and I. If we try and put her in a
: : swing or in a rocker, all she does is cry until we pick her up. Once we do this, she is fine again. We are
: : not sure if this is part of her CP or if she's just spoiled. If any other parents are having or have had this
: : problem please respond with some advise.
