: No one able to work is considered disabled by social security, and should not try to suck off the tax money of others when they can work.

: I mean, don't get me wrong here-I ain't tryin' to get something for nothing. I just want to know if I'm "disabled" or not. I'm going to school
Sept. 25,(paid for by myself) and I can't get any help from DVR, Worker retraining, Unemployment, SSI,the Dislocated Worker program...anything. As for getting SSI benifits, Iv'e allready prooved to them that I can work, (hold down a job welding)
so there's no use even asking them. That's fine with me- I really don't care. I just quit my job on 9/11/00, due to unsafe working conditions. I, at that point, was enrolled in school, and still am, and was planning to switch to swing shift so I could work
and go to school at the same time. I wound up having to fill out all kinds of long winded forms, trying to get some kind of financial help with school, so that I wouldn't have to work full time while I was going to school full time. The State says that if I've been supporting myself as a welder, so I can keep on supporting myself as a welder, so I went down and got anouther full time job welding. Even though I spent 4 months in the hospital going through INTENSE occupational, physical, and speech therapy. I have a legitimate disability. I'm certainly not trying to "suck"
off the tax money of others.(even though I'm pullin' my own load AND payin' tax's on it, too)The question remains-am I disabled or not?
