as just reading the post about the mom who has twins and one has Ds. I am also a mother who has twins. My little boy, Landon has Ds and my little girl Ashton does not. I would love to talk with that mother. At first, I felt so alone. The only twins with one having Ds I knew about were on a Lifetime Movie. I started networking on the Internet and ran across many families with twins and one having Ds. I have started a club through Yahoo for parents of multiples with one or more having Ds. We currently have about 41 members. Most of the members have fraternal twins with one having Ds; however, there are several families with triplets as well as identicals. The club is also open to parents who have more than one child with Ds but not from a multiple birth. Here is the address of the club. I wish this parent would join us. There is a message board, a chat room and photo albums. Feel free to check us out before you talk to your friend. Don't forget to check out the photos too.All you have to do is register with yahoo to join. I know how this mom must feel. I grieved for the loss of my twins as well as the loss of a perfect child. Over time I have come to realize that raising twins is a wonderful experience and having one with an extra chromosome is extraordinary. Please feel free to e-mail me at [email protected] BTW, we are from SC. I am going to post a picture of my babies, I hope it works. Angela
