: I have a 23 month old son with Down syndrome. He is healthy and doing well overall. He has been taking nutrivene suplements(no enzyme) since birth. He has repeated episodes where he spits up or vomits, requiring that his clothes be changed sometimes up to 10 times per day. I took him to a pediatric gastro. dr who ran a series of GI test that showed nothing significant. He will have some days where he does not vomit at all, and others when he never stops. Has anyone else ever experienced anything like this? Thanks

Hi my daughter is now going on 6 and went through exactly what your child is doing. Medicine didn't help. So I totally altered her
diet. Anything with Acid in it. Went, orange juice ect. She was also allergic to milk protein, so I had her on soya baby forumula
until she was almost 3, this way she could still get the vitamins she needed. Then of course which is very normal she developed an
allergy to soya. Then she went on a rice drink. She has out grown her protein allergy now and the reflux problem has pretty well
gone. Less food at meal times and drinks, but fed more often. Hope this helps.
