I am trying to find out more information about the effects of anesthesia on people (especially children) with downs syndrome. My son will probably soon be in need of some dental work and I know I've read somewhere that people with downs shouldn't be "put to sleep" unless absolutely necessary and that if it is necessary then they should have a breathing tube. I would like it documented to show my child's dentist.
