: I would like to know more about what finding a spot on a fetus's heart during the 2nd tri master has to do with down syndrome?

Many Downs babies are born with a heart condition that is characterized by a whole in either or both the upper & lower part of the heart.
Your doctor could suspect that the "spot" found could be this condition. It is treatable & can be fixed with surgery. My baby daughter
does not have this condition. Is your doctor recommending more tests? What is the next step in his treatment?
