Well my son is 2. He also had no problems when he was born up until now. Late December maybe about a week or so before Christmas my son got a little cold. Semi wheezing but I didnt think anything of it so I didnt take him to the docs. But maybe 2 weeks later, the first week of January, he got sick again. Wheezing, very lethargic.. This time it was bronhitis. They gave me Zithromax. Also a steriod to open his lungs and clear the imflammation. Exactly a month later, and im not lying.. exactly.. maybe 2 days off but to date.. I then took him to the ER again because he was wheezing, chest caving, also vomiting.. lethargic. Didnt want to do anything. We were in hawaii, visiting my family.. So the ER said he has asthma. Gave him the steriod again, sent me home with more steriods and a nebulizer and albuterol.. Now again, exactly another month, here we are again.. ER again, wheezing, vomiting.. Now I think its from traveling and we wont be traveling for awhile anymore but I need to know if this is common? I mean december january feb and march.. ? is this normal? has anyone elses kid done this or acted like this? Please help. One doc says its the traveling but the other one said no its not.. Please help..

hi,
you can try this product as my daughter and son are still taking it after recovering from frequent cold and etc...
This product is made from Ji-lin ginseng, dark plum, peppermint leaf, chrysanthemum leaf, licorice root and ganoderma. It strengthens the respiratory system including the lung and respiratory passages. It prevent frequent cold, cough, flu and bronchial distress. It improves asthma, fewer and less headache
It is safer to take products that are made from wholesome plant foods (no side effect) rather than chemically processed supplements

Regards n Take Care... :)
My son has had a similar problem to that, minus the vommitting. When he was 3 months old he caught a cold from daycare and it never went away. His ped refused to give us anything for him besides decongestant drops, which were pretty much like a placebo... they did nothing for my son.
He was wheezing, constantly showing cold-like symptoms. No fever though. So after 3 months of fighting that, we switched peds. His new ped gave a breathing treatment in his office and my son seemed to be getting better. So we got a nebulizer, albuterol, and pulmicort (steroid) for home. That was winter 2004. We didn't need it come February 2005, the wheezing had stopped. It started back up again in winter 2005 and we had to give him the nebulizer for a few weeks. Now he's almost 2 y/o and he's fine. He hasn't been diagnosed with asthma... his ped says its too early to diagnose that, as asthma is usually something that's ongoing (even though I know this has been).

My recommendation is to keep an eye on him. The traveling may have something to do with it- maybe try keeping him at your home for the next several months to see if that helps.
