Allergies board

I have had moderate seasonal allergies for about 4 years now. I have taken Claritin, Zyrtec and most recently Allegra. They have worked to different degrees but I still have moderate symptoms. Does anyone know if Singulair is a good alternative to Allegra and the others? Has anyone had success with it?Thanks in advance.
I can't give my opinion on whether or not Singulair is a good alternative to Allegra in the others, because I have always taken Singulair WITH an antihistamine. I think I've been taking both Singulair and Zyrtec for about seven years now. Singulair has worked great, with no side effects that I remember. It is true that you can take Singulair alone for allergies as it blocks leukotrienes, but it's a much better effect when taken along with a non-drowsy antihistamine.
