Yes, this is definately allergies. I've never been the type to get all stocked up, but I opened the thread "allergies...with no congestion", because it baffled me that my doctor could say I had allergies, but I didn't have the symptoms everyone else had. We live in a rural area, and sometimes we go for walks in the evenings. Actually my last bad vertigo attack almost 2 weeks ago happened when I went out walking and withing seconds, it felt like the center of my face just got all stocked up. I started sneezing and sneezing, my ears were clogged, nose all congested, and I started to feel dizzy. I went in home where the congestion went away within a couple of hours, but I got a very bad vertigo attack that lasted 7 hours. Like you, this is all new to me. I've never had allergies in my life. My allergist did tell me that when a person moves to a new area, its generally at the 2 year mark when they start to show allergy symptoms. I'd never heard of that. We're in our house 2 yrs and 7 months, so I guess I fit right in there. Have you moved within the past 2-3 years?

One more thing....have you tried Flonase? My allergist said its a fantastic medicine, even better than allegra. The way I understood his explanation was that it shrinks the vessels in the cavaties in your sinuses which stops them from swelling and getting inflammed, plus it acts as a barrier for the tubes in your ears, your throat which protects the lungs and swelling behind your forehead to stop headaches.
