I'm a 43 year old female. I had a total knee replacement last November, and after the expected post-op pain, I've had continuing bone pain. I know it's possible to have prolonged pain, and that joint replacements aren't a total 'fix' for joint degeneration, but I wasn't expecting continuing bone pain. I had good rehab, 3 different kinds- inpatient, home health, and outpatient, so did all of that. Weather effects the pain (cold from the metal I assume), but even with decent weather, I hurt. I can't take ibuprofen, naproxen, aspirin, etc because I'm on Coumadin from a massive pulmonary blood clot in April of this year (months after the TKR). So pain medication is limited. Anybody else going through this?
