Hi - I have a daughter with a similar problem - she is a violin player and I notice it being more pronounced as she gets closer to puberty. I have done some research into this and it is fairly common to get a botox injection in the nerve that controls sweating - especially if it is to s specific area - as opposed to just general profusive sweating. My sister-in-law even had the procedure covered by her insurance for underarm sweating - which is also pretty common. Botox basically paralyzes the nerve responsible for sweating - and it will need to be repeated. hope this helps!
