I am surprised that your doctor did not refer you to a Urologist before he prescribed the viagra. That would rule out any physical problems you could have. I am older that you are but when I had started having problems my doctor had me see a Urologist before he prescribed viagra. I have hypertension and that is my problem so I used to take Viagra but I switched to Cialis and it is better for me. As far as long term side effects what are they? I was not aware of any.. I really think since you are young you should see a Urologist.
That's the first time I've heard of any long-term side effects of using Viagra or the improved med, Cialis. I suggest you see another doctor, and I doubt you'll be put through the mill before he gives you a prescription. I'm not a doctor myself, but it sounds like your use of one of these "boosters" is absolutely in order, for just the reasons you outlined. That's what they're for. --And incidentally, these meds can be obtained through internet prescription services where you're in effect interviewed by e-mail, by an MD, re your medical history, etc. Since you're already aware that you don't have any allergic reactions to them, I would see no problem in using these services. I'm not recommending this route, which in general has come under quite a bit of criticism, particularly as regards more serious medications--I'm just pointing it out.
