I've been using the ErecAid Esteem System by Osbon for the past 5 years. It never fails even though many times I don't need it anymore. I use it usually only to apply finishing touches for that last bit of firmness. Initially it did the entire job while I was recovering. I'm now almost 75 and it enables a frequent and satisfying sexlife.Wife swears by it as its far more effective than Viagra,Cialis, etc. Viagra works for initial erection but not for keeping it as long as one might like. It even works if she's in the mood and you're not quite.
With this system you can maintain an erection until the compression band is removed even well after orgasm. Wife considers this a dividend.
Had RRP in 2001 and this is the model my surgeon prescribed. Its not the most compact item but it fits nicely in any luggage and we never leave home without it.
It isn't cheap, around $500, but its well worth it as you only buy it once and its quality construction compared to the junk sold over the counter. The company also provides excellant service with an 800# manned at all times by knowledgeable reps. Good Luck, Bob
I'm 9 mos. post robot. Most everything good, PSA undetectable, incontinence much better. Erections? What erections? Viagra, Cialis, Levitra have done very little. Ready to try the pump. Have read the good reviews of the vac. pumps; has anyone had any so-so experiences or unpleasant side effects with them? Always like to hear both sides of the story. Thanks all.
My husband received his pump this week. (Came with 3 different size tubes and about 30 different rings.) Thanks to this board educating me and me prompting my husband to talk to his MD about it. We are now 3 1/2 months post-op. My husband had been on Cialis for 5 weeks. All we noted is that it was expensive with no results or sensation. I was really concerned that my husband would get more and more discouraged. Once he discussed it with his MD (of course he told him that I was surfing this website and that I was reading what others have had success with), he set him up with a ED Vacuum device representative. He met with my husband and consulted for about 45 minutes on the device. We received the device 4 days later and WOW. I feel like we wasted our money on all of the Cialis. My husband was able to obtain an erection with the device and NO RINGS first time we used it. Enough for us to be intimate. However, he did not achieve an orgasm. He has had an orgasm since the surgery without erection. I feel that this is the first step to building his confidence back up. I am and will continue to be supportive of his needs. To all of ya'll that are thinking about getting the vacuum. WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? The cost was $600.00 insurance paid all but $120. Our insurance did not pay for Cialis... this was costing us close to $300.00 per month. Thanks to this board we were able to tell the doctor what we needed.
