I've had a case of chronic hives on and off for about two years.....They actually began after a bout with Lyme Disease. Initially I took two Allegra, plus Singulair and Cimetidine to control the hives. I've had lots of tests and the doctors think they are autoimmune related. I've noticed that when I have hives, I usually feel well otherwise. BUT when the hives go away, I feel terrible with body aches and fatigue. Has anyone else experienced this and have any ideas WHY this happens?

I have had deep muscle pain without actually having the hives appearing. It usually effects my shoulders and arms. Although, I have had them on the inside of my mouth and throat. That caused my mouth and swallowing to be painful. When I get this pain in my arms and shoulders, there is nothing I can do that will relieve it. Fortunately for me, this doesn't happen often.
