Ok, this all started a few months ago. To be blunt(because I don't know how else to say it), I can feel mucus in the back of my throat hanging down. No, I'm pretty sure it's not flem or phlem or whatever. This feeling is horrible enough, but sometimes it actually bothers my breathing and I have to take this big gulps of air in my mouth, it's really bothersome, so, even though it's disgusting, I start reflexively swallowing. When this happens my jaw tightens up from the feeling and I grit my teeth together really hard, I'm sure it's doing damage to them.
Anyway, the only thing I can think of is allergies, which I've never had. Can someone please help me get rid of this? Sorry for the disgusting images...I feel like some kind of mucus..troll...or something.
You're probably experiencing draining from your sinuses, which is often caused by allergies. Try taking an OTC antihistimine such as Claritin (loratidine). It may take a few days to see results, but that should help dry things up.
