Discussions that mention clindamycin

Acne board

I don't visit the boards as much as I used to, but that's definitely a good thing. Yes, my skin has cleared up and is staying clear. Actually, I wanted to post sooner, but I was so afraid to jinx myself that I thought I ought to wait a while.

Here's my routine. Now, it may seem like a lot, but I've definitely gotten the hang of it, and I follow it religiously morning and night without having to give it much thought at all. As far as I'm concerned, and I'm sure you'll all agree, any routine is worth doing if clear skin is to follow. This has been a result of obtaining info from this board and my own trial and error.

*Wash with Neutrogena's Deep Clean Facial Cleanser (salicylic acid)
*Followed by a dab of clindamycin gel (perscription) mixed with a dab of Proactiv's Repairing Lotion (benzoyl peroxide)
*Moisturize with Neutrogena spf 15

Plus: a multi-vitamin and 25mg spironolactone (perscription)

*Wash with Neutrogena's Fresh Foaming Cleanser (to get the make-up off)
*Wash with the Proactiv Cleanser
*Apply a small amount of Proactiv toner (glycolic acid)
*Moisturize with Neutrogena's Anti-wrinkle Anti-Blemish Clear Skin Cream (retinol and salicylic acid)

Plus: vitamin-C and 30mg zinc and 25mg spiro (pers.)

I do a mask once or twice a week. I like Queen Helene's Mint Julep and Grape Seed Peel-Off Masks. I, also, really love Proactiv's acne mask (sulfur).

Again, I know this sounds like a lot, but it only takes me 5 minutes in the morning and 5 minutes at night to execute. Not only has my skin cleared up, but my skin is a lot more refined, too, pores a lot less noticable. I've gotten many compliments on my skin lately. I've even had a few people on different occasions say that my skin is glowing! Wow!!

If you have any questions, I'd be happy to try and help.
