Discussions that mention clindamycin

Acne board

I think it is from your meds. I had been on Retin-A, Clindamycin Phosphate, and Benzi-Q face wash. About a week ago, I stopped using my medicines to gear up for accutane, so my face wouldn't be as dry. I've just been using a gentle cleanser. My face looks a lot better, I've even had a couple friends (good ones of course, because they'd be the only ones who noticed) tell me my face looks good. I think it's largely due to the fact that it isn't as red from being constantly irritated by different medicines.

My best friend had an issue with the her medicine actually burning her skin; she was bright red. They just lowered her dose.

So, I definetly think you should talk to your doctor about it. Good luck. :)
Clindamycin Phosphate just burned my face skin.
