Discussions that mention clonazepam

Restless Leg Syndrome board

I agree RLS and leg cramps are totally different. I take Clonazepam (Klonopin) - do not take it every night as can be habit forming. It seems to work great and the effects last for several days (they say it has a long half life?) - each day a little less and then I know it is time to take it again. I also have Fibromyalgia so helps with the sleep isues of that.

Maybe your doc misunderstood what you were telling her. If it is doing nothing call and let her know and make sure she understands what you have. What I do is fax a note to my doctor explaining what is going on. I know he gets and reads them as my chart is full of them and his nurse usually calls me with answers as needed. This sometimes works better then trying to get the doc on the phone.

Good luck....sunny 47
