I too have the white tounge thing. I was diagnosed as having Candida by my Dentist. I also had a pretty bad infection in my lower gums. The infection has pretty much cleared up. I was perscribed clotrimazole troches ( 10 mg ) amount 70. I have taken two bottles now ( 140 ) and the tounge has not cleared up. I brush, floss, de plaque about 6 times a day ( i'm retired ) I have one more troche left and then it's back to the Dentist, ( or Doctor )

Hey Tucker, I went thru the same thing you did. Back in November 2004, I had a really bad infection on the gumline of my bottom left wisdom teeth. It was so bad, I was sick for a couple of weeks, my tongue hurt, had the worst fevers, and could barely eat. My dentist called in some antibiotics and everything cleared up. However, I too have that white looking tongue and have for quite some time.

I'm wondering if I have candida too. Did you experienced any crazy symptoms a little while after the mouth thing cleared up? I've seen everything from nausea, lightheadedness, migraines, bowel movements, to muscle aches.....and I've read that Candida can wreak havoc on nearly your entire body. I did the home saliva test where when you wake up in the morning you work up some saliva and spit it into a glass of water and watch to see if it has legs and builds up sediment. Well mine surely did. I think I might even have done myself some damage when, in October, I decided to self-medicate myself with the leftover antibiotics from a year ago. Sounds stupid I know, but I freaked out after I discovered blood in my stool, but it turned out to be just an internal hemorhoid. I read that when you abuse antibiotics they destroy the necessary bacteria in your system and that in turn let's the yeast run amok.
