Discussions that mention clotrimazole

Hello Martra:

Try applying Vasaline at night before you go to bed. Put a glove on and go to bed with it on. The glove will keep the Vasaline from getting on your bed linens and also help your sking absorb it.

If you cannot get the dry skin under control, a visit to the doctor may be in order. I had tried everyting for my hands including bag balm, Burt's Bees ointiment, Lotil cream, etc. It turned out that I had a fungus infection on my hands. I was prescribed Clotrimazole and Betamethasone cream and it cleared right up.

We RSDers have unreliable immune systems and can pick up almost any bug. My fungas infection looked like dry skin to me, it just wouldn't clear up.

I hope the vasaline remedy helps. Good luck.

Regards, Lil
