I've observed a couple posts with people claiming they get slightly different results/side effects when going with the generic meds as opposed to the brand name meds. Any truth to this or is it urban legend?
I've been taking Dextrostat 5MG tabs, and underneath that is says "Substituted for Dexedrine 5 MG tabs."
The most recent prescription reads, "Dextroamphetamine 5 MG tabs," and underneath it reads "Substituted for Dexedrine 5 MG tabs."
So is "Dextrostat" just a short word for "Dextroamphetamine," or is there a slight difference between to two, because they're both substituted for "Dexedrine."
Additionally, should I be taking the brand name Dexedrine instead of these generics? What's the difference in effectiveness? THANK YOU ADD BOARD!
