welcome to the dexedrine club! LOL just kidding...wow it's hard to find others who are taking dexedrine now because adderall seems to be the most prescribed
i take 30mg. of the extended release and 20mg immediate release daily. i didn't notice a difference until i reached 50mg. but has helped me a lot since!!! i thought it would give me more energy since i have fatigue but haven't experienced that...how much are you taking and does it help with energy?
btw the extended release i take is brand name and immediate release is dextrostat

i tried the generic spansules and hated them....they say generics are the same as the brand name...which is true..but it's the inactive ingredients in the generic that affect the absorption rate into the body and is usually lower. generic time released ritalin is known to be very unreliable...
the immediate release version is great!! the 10mg from barr..pink ones are not as good as Dextrostat (yellow ones)
when i start getting my disability checks hopefully soon.i wanna add desoxyn because dexedrine is losing it's effectiveness somewhat

Isn't Desoxyn the same as Meth? Maybe I'm thinking of something else.
I used to be on the short-acting, name-brand Dextrostat. They did work really well. Much more smoothly that Ritalin, which I hate. I tried Ritalin right after I got dxed, and couldn't tolerate the way it made me feel.
How far along are you in the disabiliy process? I've been on SSD for about three years now, and have Medicare (which you're eligible for after two years). As far as I know, Medicare will only pay for the generic, hence the generic spansules. I do prefer the name-brands (who doesn't?), but I'm unwilling to pay out of pocket for the difference. I'm actually eligible for a drug-company program that would provide free name-brand Dexedrine, but they would only cover 10mg.day, because it's a controlled substance, even if my prescription is for a higher dose. Really helpful!

desoxyn is the brand name of methamphetamine...but because it is pharmaceutical grade and taken orally, it is not the same as crystal meth bought off the street which is not only full of impurities that can be dangerous, but the method of taking it...snorting, injecting, smoking, etc. make it more of an addictive drug..
as far as my disibility, still processing lol takes forever...
i am enrolled in Glaxo's drug program for brand name dexedrine spansules and they cover 30mg. daily for me..don't let them pull you around
