[removed] I am on the fentanyl patch and it does work pretty good. You really do need to be on something stronger or a LA (long acting) opiod medication. The Tylex would be like taking baby aspirin to me. So you do have a lot of options and things to try. I don't know how much your GP is willing to help but you may need to see a PM (pain management) doctor. Is there a big problem in your country with doctors not wanting to prescribe opiods/opiates due to addiction issues? I will list the medications that you may want to try. I am not sure what they may be called in your country but at least I will state the generic name in parenthese.

LA meds
1. MS Contin (morphine sulfate) - controlled release morphine
2. Avinza (morphine sulfate) - extended release morphine
3. Kadian (morphine sulfate) - extended release morphine
4. Duragesic (fentanyl) patch - a patch with fentanyl worn for 2-3 days
5. Methadone (?) - very effective pain med
6. Opana ER (oxymorphone) - controlled release oxymorphone
7. Oxycontin (oxycodone) - taken 2 or 3 times per day

SA meds
1. Vicoden, Lortab (hydrocodone)
2. Percocet, Roxicodone (oxycodone)
3. Dilaudid (hydromorphone)
4. Darvon, Darvocet (propoxyphene hcl)
5. Demerol (meperidine)
6. Ultram, Ultracet (tramadol)
7. Tylenol #3, #4 (acetaminophen w/ codeine)
8. Opana (oxymorphone)
