Discussions that mention erythromycin

Sorry I don't have any specific names for you in DC but I'm surprised you are having problems resolving this. It should in theory not be too complicated to treat..basically it's "walking pneumonia or "atypical pneumonia".

Mycoplasma infection is usually diagnosed on the basis of typical symptoms...fever, cough, bronchitis, sore throat, headache and tiredness.
A nonspecific blood test (cold agglutinins) is helpful in definitive diagnosis, but is not always positive.

I just did a little research and antibiotics such as erythromycin, clarithromycin or azithromycin are effective treatment if the infection doesn't resolve on it's own.

What treatment have you had so far?
