Lisa, I'm glad your getting closer. Thanks for the encouraging words.
Solange, WOW! that's a great number to work with and now you'll be in the 2ww tomorrow! Hope you get that BFP!
Well, I do not have better news today. It seems as though my follicles have stalled on the menopur. They gave me follistim to take home and I'll find out later how much to take. I'm hoping for an ordinary miracle.
KM, I am so sorry this stim phase turned out so frustrating. I saw that you were doing 6 Menopur at a time, wow, you are one strong woman to take so much pain. I had issues with just one dose. Dont loose hope there, Follistim does a great job.
Solange, OMG, what a wonderful turn has this cycle taken for you. Congrats for such an awesome fertilization and good luck for your transfer.
Lisa, I am so glad that the things are starting to move for you, just a few more weeks and you will be pregnant.
Soleil, how is everything going with you?
April dear, I am happy that the AF made her appearance, would have been more happy if it wouldnt have showed for 9 months, but you will get there in a month or so.
Lisa(lgs) congratulations for such an awesome transfer and for entering the 2ww. 10 more days till beta? I know you are not counting the days ...;)
Whit, how is the weight loss going for you? I hope all this diet change will not interfere with our chances in a natural cycle. Probably would help, now that I am eating much more healthy stuff, one would think.
Babydust to all,
Mady
Mady, nice to hear from you! Actually, my dh puts all 6 in one needle, so it's only 1 shot and then 1 shot of gonerelix. Tonight though, I'll have 3 shots becuase I'm mixing in follistim.

lgs, thanks for asking...I'm depressed and feeling not too hopeful about this cycle. I see my RE tomorrow because he wants to do my sono. I'm afraid that if the follistim doesn't do anything by tomorrow, then he'll cancel the whole thing.

solange, good luck tomorrow with your ET!

KM I hope everything goes well tomorrow at your sono. I have never been on follistim but I have seen a lot of people post about it and seem to have very good luck with it. I just know those follies will grow. Good luck.
KM sweetie, good luck at your sono tomorrow... I really hope the follistim gets things going for you.

Solange, congrats on a great fert report. And best of luck with the embryo transfer and 2WW... I hope a sticky BFP awaits you at the end of it!!!

Mady, I just replied to your post to me on the other side... thanks again for your support. I hope you are doing well during this time of wait. I look forward to celebrating a BFP with you in the very near future!!!

Lisa, woohoo... three weeks and then it's lurpon time!!! I feel very good that this cycle will move forward with no futher delays! Hope you are having a nice nite!
Lisa -- yay, counting down to your date with Lupron... Its already Aug where I am ;) so its just around the corner... so excited for your cycle to start!!!!!!

Solange -- wow, 17 out of 22 is just fabulous!! Good luck for your E/T... I felt the same way TNT said - holding the bladder was the hardest part. It is really over in a flash and with no hassle. Update us when you can!

Km -- aw, hun, I am so sorry that things are slow for you. I am praying that follistim does the trick for you  Thinking of you...

Mady -- lovely to hear from you!!! :) You've been on my mind.

Igs -- great that you felt well enough to go into school. In my post-E/T days I was just terrified to move and could not stop thinking about all of this. It is really great that you could focus on something else and feel refreshed.

Tnt -- counting down your 2ww with you too... when is your beta?

Love,
-H
Solange, what a great report! I'm hoping your transfer goes smooth and you have great news for us soon! Good luck!

Lisa, Lupron is coming quickly! You'll only be a week or so behind me! When will you finally hear about your donor again?

KM, I'm hoping that things have taken a turn for the better this morning! I'm not sure why they didn't have you on Follistim in the first place, but I really hope it gives your follies the push they need. Keep us posted.

Hi ladies, how is everyone today? Thank you everyone for your well wishes. Yesterday I went for my ET and it was really amazing to me, I got to see everything on the screen and they gave me a picture of the two embryos that were transfered. I was really excited and happy, I still am. I really hope this works. I have an appointment on Aug.11 for the pregnancy test, that is also my DH's birthday and I hope to give him a BFP as a birthday present.

lgs- we are both now on 2ww, how agonizing, I hope to hear a BFP from you soon. I'm sorry your embryos did not survive to be frozen, I wonder why that is? I'm still waiting to here from my nurse about how many if any will be frozen.

KM- I'm sorry you are having such a rough time. Follistim is usually very good and I also question why they didn't put you on it sooner. I used Follistim for my first IUI and now for my IVF and I've had a very good response, I hope the same goes for you.

tntbaby- good to hear you had your ET on Monday, now the waiting game. Can't wait to hear BFP from you, best of luck.

Hazel- Removed

Best wishes to all of you
Hi, KM
I've read your entries here and in mine. I'm very sorry for you.
I would be pretty pissed because the RE was not capable of managing the follicle growth appropriately. Whatever reasons they give you are total BS-they were incompetent. Bust some balls, girl! Tic tac, tic tac, and they're charging up your insurance. And if they continue to screw up your case, seriously consider giving a better doctor a chance.
Did you know that it costs more than 12,000 per cycle?
So, call the doctor and speak with him in person. What can they do now or next time to avoid this issue from happening again? Why wasn't an adequate dosage of follistim delivered in time to prevent this? What did they do in the past to correct it? How did it work? What about the unnecessary exposure to hormones that may increase your risk for cancers? Will the cycle actually work now? What about the waste of time? When will the next cycle be? 2-3 months? What about all the expensive medicine that you took for nothing? If your husband froze a sample, they are charging you per month for that, are they not? Yep, you have the right to be PISSED!
Remember: it's the squeaky wheel that gets the oil! The common mentality in doctors' offices (and everywhere else) is that if you're nice and modest, they can take advantage of you. Question everything they do, take notes (go in with a notebook), be a pain in the tuhus, but don't be taken for granted.
So write things down, think about how you will word things (you need to be cool headed), and call his office. Now.
KM, great news! Obviously that Follistim did the trick for you. I'm so glad they were able to get a good number of eggs and you'll be able to transfer. Looking forward to your fert update! Keep us posted! - April
Km those are awsome news, great job on ER. I knew follistim would be good for you. Let us know how you do on fert report.

Lgs - these 2ww are killing me how about you? I'm so tempted to do a HPT, how are you haldling it? By the way, I received a letter from the embryologist and they were able to freeze only one of my embryos.

Holly - how have you been feeling? got a belly yet?

Lisa - hopefully these 6 weeks will go by very fast for you, let us know about your progress. I never did accupuncture, but I sure would like to try.

Baby dust to all XOXOXOXOX
