I recall that your whoppingly high 453 triglycerides contributed mightily to that 218 TC.

I think the 20 mg. Lipitor combined with a triglyceride lowering regimen of some sort is the thing you should pursue. Your high HDL's (70) are also in your favor A LOT! Taking the Lipitor up, UP and UP isn't a very good idea.

Have you tried just eliminating sugar and booze from your diet...that can go a long way towards lowering triglycerides. Or even adding agents like gemfibrozil or clofibrate. Also LOTS of soluble fiber like psyllium, pectins, oatmeal are a good idea.
