Back Problems board

Hi everybody,
It is good to hear from you Michelle !! I have taken a lot of meds (Including narcotics like valium and hidrocodone) since my problem started in October of last year, but the ones that seem to work better for me are anti-inflamatories(in large dosis) like Ibuprofen 800mg and Ketorolac. I do not know if you (Michelle and Pleasestop) have taken any of these, but if you don't, it might be worth trying them out to help the soreness from the discogram. I did not started taking those after several months after my problem started, but surprisingly, they helped more than the meds that are supposed to be for severe pain. I cound not take those meds before the discogram, but I started on Ibuprofen 800mg last night again.

Fortunately I have been a little bit better than usual after the discogram, but still I cannot get out of bed except to go to the bathroom. I am also going to see the doctor again on friday and he will explain me the discogram results and the procedure or surgery he is planning to perform.

I have had this problem since October of last year, and I have not been able to get out of bed for nearly three months. I have also had several ESIs and I have tried avery conservative treatment, but it has not worked for me either. I just want to have surgery as soon as possible and have my life back, if surgery goes well of course. I am considering endoscopyc-microdisectomy surgery, and I hope hope my doctor tells me I am good candidate for it, but everything depends on the discogram results.

How about you guys, what type of surgery or treatment are you considering now?
