Discussions that mention lisinopril

High & Low Blood Pressure board

Guys,
I just want to give a plug for yoga. I've been doing yoga for about 3 months. Usually, I go 2x's a week. Normally, my bp is in the 140/90 range. I take 10 mg of lisinopril per day. Last week, I went to the dr. and my bp was 125/80. I've been exercising a lot, but the yoga is particularly good because it combines exercise with breathing exercises and flexibility training.
Thanks for this plug!! I exercise quite a bit already (step aerobics, cycling, walking, weights, some tennis). I take 5mg amlodipine and 40 mg benicar (Azor is the drug name). It has brought my pressure down. But I want it down consistently, even at the Dr's office. My doctor even suggested it to calm my nerves.
I have tried yoga a little before but felt it was too hard.
This is GREAT incentive to try again and stick to it! I am going to try again Sunday:wave:!
Thanks
