Discussions that mention lyrica

confusedpatient, We called the doc yesterday and had his Lyrica increased to 125 mg twice a day. So far it doesn't seem to be working as good as the Neurontin, but the doc did say that he's starting him out low. He took his first *increased* dose last night, so it remains to be seen if it helps. No negative side effects as of yet. *crosses fingers* He's also taking Tramadol 50mg and Naproxen 500 mg each twice a day. He has Vicodin that he can take as needed but he doesn't like the way it makes him feel so he rarely uses it. All this for a person that rarely took an aspirin before!

Brian, I agree about the NEW doc. Not only to find out about the epidurals, but because his current doc hardly listens to him. He was great the first few times we saw him, but he is always in such a hurry to go about his day that he hardly answers a question anymore. I'm having a hard time convincing him to switch though. He says he switched once, he doesn't want to do it again. I'm sure he's just frustrated. It seems we've been down the same road so many times. It's gets old having to tell the story over and over and over. All the same questions, all the same tests. We start to wonder if anyone even pays attention. He has an appt on the 11th. If things go the way I think they will, then I shouldn't have a problem convincing him then.

How are you doing, btw? Is it good news that we haven't heard from you? :)
