Oh when that lawnmower fell front end first off the back of my truck my heart went right to my throat. I didn't get hurt just scared. My one and only friend was laughing so hard afterword because of the expression on my face when it happened.
Hows the Lyrica treating you ? I took a percocet today and boy it made me dizzy and sick. I try not to take to much of that stuff.
By now you must realize how I like to talk..On and on I could go. I can't help it. Sitting home all day with no one to talk to drives me nuts.

Welcome back Danielson, Better your heart in your throat than any more damage to your back. The Lyrica is working I think, I can't tell yet, The wife has me laying a hardwood floor and I just put the 2nd coat of poly on it .. I know what ya mean about talking and going on and on and on. I find myself talking to my cat and what's worse is that she's starting to answer me back .. I got a call the the other day from the guy who owns the building that my tools were stolen and he replaced me with his friend that owed him money .. Well, seems to be that he wants me to install a wood handrail over a steel railing because as he said "I'm a much better finish carpenter" than the other guys are .. I'm meeting him today at 11 am .. I just have to put my tools back on the truck each day .. I also have an appointment with a new back Dr. The one who took my surgeons place because she moved to CA. I miss one appointment on monday and got a letter to sign stating hat if I miss another app. I have to pay 50.00 and miss 3 They will discharge me and nolonger treat me. So we are going to have words today for sure .. Like he's the only game in town .. As you see, I don't put up with crap from anyone incuding a Dr. I blased out the a Dr that was on call when I reherniated my disc. He got an ear full because he was being a jerk telling me I shouldn't call for more meds on weekends even if the others are not working. I chewed him out and got the script anyway.. I think some have the "God" complex .. Being a 51 year old dog, don't be pulling on my tail I will turn and bite when I had enough. anyway .. How's the back? have you decided yet on your course of options?

Joe I was thinking the same thing when you said you talk to your cat , ( as long as he don't answer back ) hehehe..Your right some doctor do think their GOD. If I don't like the one I'm with I go to a diff doc. Glad the Lyrica's working for you. Ask your doctor what he thinks about the sleeve around the Dura for nerves. I think I'm going to do it. I'm tired of all this pain . Doesn't that hurt your back doing that floor ? I love hardwood floors , my wife always polishes em up for me when I come across it in my socks, expecially the steps..Before my injury at work I fell the whole way down the steps on my butt , I layed there holding my cheeks for 10 minutes cussing her. I love our red oak steps ,,they are very hard on the butt..lol
Well don't miss them doctor appointments they cost to much $$$

Hi Dan, sorry been busy.. I already seen the Dr before I read this. I'm still in pain .. lotta pain today.. and YES, installing a hardwood floor is a killer on your back. Our floors are slippery as well... we may try "Cat Bowling" kidding .. we have 3 cats .. The Dr wanted me to sign a form that stated if I miss an appointment I'd have to pay 50.00 and if I miss 3 they will discharge me .. I didn't sign it .. sheesh miss one appointment and the ytreat you like a kid .. I did tell the secretary that if I am kept waiting then they would have to waive my co-pay and pay for my parking .. then I would sign that form .. lol . hope all is well .. I'm smoking a pork shoulder for pulled pork tomorrow .. Happy Fathers Day!
