Back Problems board

[QUOTE=syrinx2112;2798963]I am sorry that you are going through this. I am new to this site, but I was wondering if you have back problems..disc problems? I am just curious because when I had my disc herniation 2 years ago the doctors asked if I had any problems like you are currently having. I hope you get answers soon and it will be resolved soon. Please keep us posted.
Hi Syrinx,
I do have back problems, I had a L4-5 fusion in March of 2006, and have had repeated problems above and below the fusion site ever since, probably there even before the fusion actually. Since the fusion though, instead of unilateral leg pain, I have bilateral leg pain down to my feet. I have a complete foot drop on the left, which require the use of a AFO for me to walk, along with my handy, dandy cane, numbness down both legs when I sit for more than 10 minutes or less some days, burning in both feet, can't feel the soles of my feet anymore, pain down both legs, numbness in my rear end, lower back pain that is constant, and the last MRI showed severe stenosis at L3-4, and L5-S1, along with foraminal stenosis at L5-S1 , severe on the right, moderate on the left, and the reverse at L3-4, along with hypertrophy of the ligament, and a hernation at L5-S1, L 3-4.....the symptoms seem to be getting worse rather than better......they are increasing my pain meds and sending me to the urologist, but I think that I need a new surgery rather than an increase in pain meds and lyrica.........sigh.
