Another person in Oxy hell. I think that age and health have a whole lot to do with how you get off the crap. If you are young and healthy then I suggest a medically-supervised detox facility. There are some quick-detox facilities out there(spend the extra money for a good one---steer clear of ones in strip malls) that will put you under with benzos and you'll sleep through the worst part of the physical withdrawals. A regular detox center will ween you down with darvocette over a few days. The physical withdrawal is difficult but the mental part of it is very tricky. That is why I always suggest a good rehab(at least 28 days). My nephew kicked Oxy and Methadone in a detox then went to a 28 day rehab. He's been clean a couple of years. If you are truly sick of being sick then you have a good chance at cleaning up. You can try a taper but keep in mind that tapering rarely works. Doing it alone rarely works. Suboxone is another way to go but then you have to kick that stuff. I reckon I'm "old school".....going through the withdrawal hell and coming out the other side not having to kick another drug. You'll need help with this gorilla on your back. Find an addiction specialist or just get a detox/rehab stay lined up. Stop before you lose everything.
