Hi, there. I have been in the hospital from Saturday morning. I have Cytomegalovirus, I never heard of it before, with a count of 200. A normal person with the virus has a count of 5!! It is not contagious and no organ damage is found. 98% of people get it, but my immune system could not fight it. Either that or I am a carrier and in times of stress it flares! So, it does not look like fibro. I want to get Subutex as soon as possible and build up my immune. My doc shall phone me tomorrow, he first wants to speak with neurologist to discuss the easiest method. Methadone for 6 days is one option.:confused::confused:

I'm so sorry to hear you were in the hospital.. I would suggest stay as far away from methadone as possible. It's what got me where I am in the first place. It's 10 times harder to get off of than anything else. Even suboxone. If you can, go the sub route. Hope you get to feeling better soon!

Methadone won't be kept by me, but the doctor. It was used 6/7 years ago by me to get off drugs and I did not have a problem with the methadone itself. Helped me alot. I am not allowed to take the medication on my own or take it home. It is very more strict here than Subutex. Where are you from. I don't know if I should say enjoy your day or night. It is now 10' clock in the morning here. Waiting for doc to phone me regarding the "detox" process.

My doc found a plan to get me off Subutex, without the use of methadone! G8trgrl15(hope it is spelled right), hang in there. At least you are on 2mg. I will let both of you know what the doc says. Fitz13, I know a few English people here use the term "Buck". My language here at home is Afrikaans, so I was not sure how the "Buck" thing works! Looking forward to your e-mail! I went for a few physio treatments, so my pain improved very well.

Me and my husband had a great talk yesterday! So, that is sorted out. I am starting to get scared for the future. Only 8 more days and then I 'll be off it. I can feel the craving. Whenever I upset or down/sad I want to drink a painkiller to help me relax. I do not want to end up the same rollercoaster. My doc don't know about my painkiller addiction I had and I want to keep it that way, because most of the docs I tell about it, treats me like crap and won't give me any. Fore my condition I need painkillers and they just think I am after it for a buzz. Complicated, hey!!?? On the bright side, I am feeling really good for someone who is detoxing. Works better than methadone or whatever. I drank about 6 painkillers this week. I think it's pretty good for someone who is detoxing. I go to physio about 3 times a week and my muscle pain is merely there. I only get headaches after the session, whick is normal.:jester:Do any of you drink benzos?I drink Alpralozam 1mg at night with the other 25mg Librium. I struggle a little with sleeping, but my body is use to the Alzam now. I have been drinking it for a while now and my doc said I must continue till after the detox and then we'll start with the Alzam detox. Fun, hey??!!

Lol... It's funny to hear you say "drink my painkillers".. I've never known it to be in a liquid form. Over here, it's pills. Methadone comes in a liquid, but I think that's it. Anyway, just a little laugh for me.. Hope you are doing well!!
