My 7 year old daughter has had problems with constiopation every since she was born (she's now on Miralax). Occasionally she will wet the bed in the middle of the night and she will also occasionally wake up vomiting for no obvious reason. I think I've read somehwere that vomiting and bed wetting can sometimes be triggered from constipation. Does anyone else's children have these symptoms? Any other ideas on how to control it? THANX!

My older son has had this problem since 1 & 1/2 years of age. The pharmacist recommended suppositories and laxatives and we found that the use of suppositories (adult-sized cut in half) applied rectally was most effective.

We found that a light dose of Tealaxative or a small suppository should produce favorable results within 20 minutes.
