High & Low Blood Pressure board

Babygirl,
I read your post as saying that you are ONLY taking Inderal now. First off, it's NOT the best BP med around. It's EXTREMELY short term and should be taken 3 or 4 times a day. The "all day" version doesn't really fill the bill.

Perhaps going back on lisinopril + HCTZ is your answer especially if you were able to tolerate the stuff in the past without an annoying cough.

Pricier are the ARB's and HCTZ which are easy side-effects wise.

If for some reason your doctor is wedded to beta-blockers for you??? then maybe a longer acting, stronger product like dirt cheap atenolol, nadolol, or metoprolol??
