Sounds like allergic rhinitus stimulated sinusitus. If the membranes or there is a blockage (pollump) you may not experience the typical runny nasal nose of some.. it will just drain down the back of your nose instead.

Quick test for you would be to get OTC Claritin D if you MD has not prescribed and anit-histamine decongestant combo for you yet.. and take it. It will take two weeks to build to optimum levels in your blood so you need to at least take it for a month. If the clartin-D relieves your allergies, you have just confirmed that you are suffering from allergies. You can also use a steriodal nasal spray like nasonex.. this should give you the best relief.. but you will need a script. Als look into regular rinsing of your sinuses using nasal saline sprays.

Sincerely,
MG
